Nutrition
Nutrition initiatives by Sampark in the Bhil Community are dedicated to addressing the pressing issue of malnutrition, particularly among children, adolescents, and pregnant women. In response to alarming malnutrition rates, they introduced Amrit Churn, a nutritious powder made from sesame, soybean, and gram designed to provide essential nutrients that combat anaemia and enhance immunity.
Through training sessions, adolescent girls learn to prepare Amrit Churn at home, empowering them to support their health and that of their younger siblings. Sampark also conducts awareness programs highlighting the significance of balanced nutrition and immunization, guiding families on how to access vital government nutrition schemes such as the Supplementary Nutrition Program, Mangal Divas, etc.
