Soil and Water Conservation Measures
By working closely with local farmers and government departments, Sampark has implemented a series of strategic measures in soil and water conservation. In Gram Panchayat Kalighati, located in a drought-prone area of Petlawad Tehsil, water scarcity has historically led to conflicts among residents. To alleviate this issue, Sampark initiated a project along with the farmers to deepen the dried-up pond of a previously silted tank, enhancing its water-holding capacity. This effort transformed 28913 hectares of land, benefiting 40000 farmers and providing 60 families with employment for 60 days.
